The Little Van Gogh Residency
The Little Van Gogh Residency is in its second year, offering an artist space and a concentrated period for independent work and creative risk-taking. This opportunity is intended to nurture advances in artistic process, free from the pressures and expectations of their usual practice.
The impact of a residency often reaches well beyond the session itself. Co-judge Tim Craven, curator at Southampton City Art Gallery explains,
“Being able to experience a new environment is a brilliant way for artists to kick start new ideas. The launch of Little Van Gogh’s residency will have a highly positive impact on the development of all the artists who take part.”
The Little Van Gogh Residency will take place in April 2018, accommodating an artist in the New Forest National Park for the development of their creative practice.
